IN A FEW WORDS...

JUDA - Judaism through the Arts -  is an engaging, hands on educational Hebrew School programme. JUDA instils Jewish values  and tradition through an interactive curriculum enriched with Art, Drama, and Song.

IN SOME MORE WORDS...

OUR STUDENTS:
JUDA caters to children in Reception - Year 6 and consists of classes grouped by age.

OUR CURRICULUM:
T
he JUDA day will be split into 2 parts.

The first 45 minutes will be exploring the Aleph Champ curriculum, a karate-inspired Hebrew reading system based on the principles that allows students to learn at their pace and to be motivated by their own successes. Once Hebrew reading is mastered, students will begin to also learn Hebrew language.

The second part of the morning will consist of lessons focusing on festival preparation, Bible stories, Jewish observances, Jewish values, and life cycle events all through an interactive curriculum enriched with Drama, Art and Song.

OUR "NON-JUDGEMENTAL" POLICY:
At JUDA we believe that “a good choice is an educated choice.” We, therefore, aim to provide our students with the information and positive Jewish experiences to enable them to make good and informed choices - now and throughout their lives.

We are very aware that each child comes from a different background, and are sensitive to the fact that the level of commitment and observance differs in each home.

OUR SUPPLIES:
To achieve the best results, JUDA uses high end art supplies, and we conscious of the environment with all the materials purchased and used.

JUDA takes place every Sunday morning while schools are in session.
